Postgame: Jets 21 Ravens 42
Lamar Jackson furthered his MVP credentials with five touchdown passes and the Ravens ran for 218 yards on the Jets' run defense for a predictably comfortable win on Thursday night.
Baltimore led 21-7 after a first half that was highlighted by some missed opportunities on offense as the Jets were actually outgaining the Ravens. Ultimately, though, the gulf in talent was too much and they extended their lead to 35-7 before the Jets made the score more palatable with a few late touchdowns.
On offense, Jamison Crowder caught six passes for 90 yards and two Sam Darnold touchdowns and Le'Veon Bell rushed for a season-high 87 yards. The other Jets' touchdown came from BJ Bello on a blocked punt.
We'll have much more in-depth analysis throughout the day tomorrow, so keep checking back early and often...
