Postgame: Dolphins 24 Jets 0

Another embarrassing loss for the Jets, who were never in this one despite the fact they only got outgained for 34 yards and once again won the turnover battle.

Everything seemed so easy for Miami but the Jets made everything look hard. They ran the ball pretty well, but Joe Flacco completed less than half of his passes and the special teams unit was woeful.

In terms of bright spots, Jamison Crowder set a team record for consecutive games with seven catches, which seems oddly specific but you have to take what you can get with this team. Also, Bryce Huff got his first career sack and Marcus Maye had basically the most insane interception in NFL history, although he probably still over-celebrated given how the Jets were down by 24 at the time.

Really though, the one good piece of news from today was that the two other winless teams both won so the Jets are in pole position to get the number one pick in April.

Is this enough for the powers-that-be to consider a coaching change?
