Open thread: Saturday's playoff action

Coming up today/tonight:

Vikings at 49ers - 4:35 p.m. ET

The 49ers went 13-3 during the regular season, with their only three losses all coming on the last play of the game. On Saturday, they face a team that just won on the last play of the game.

Minnesota surprisingly got past the Saints last week on Kyle Rudolph's touchdown catch in overtime. The Vikings were paced by their pass rush, Dalvin Cook's 94 rushing yards and two scores and a big game by Adam Thielen. Expect a similar gameplan this week.

For the 49ers, quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo posted a quarterback rating of 102.0 during the season and has a selection of young weapons at his disposal, led by tight end George Kittle.

On defense, everyone knows about rookie Nick Bosa and his nine sacks, but Arik Armstead and DeForest Buckner have also combined for 17.5 between them. Leading tackler Fred Warner and pro bowl cornerback Richard Sherman will also play a vital role.

Titans at Ravens - 8:15 p.m. ET

The Titans are in the late game slot again after Derrick Henry's 182-yard and one touchdown led them to an impressive road win in New England last Saturday night.

Facing Baltimore figures to be a different proposition though, as MVP-elect Lamar Jackson seeks his first postseason win after losing to the Chargers in his rookie season.

As Jets fans know, the Ravens also boast a solid defense led by a secondary that features three pro bowlers and pass rusher Matt Judon, who had 9.5 sacks. Mark Ingram and Mark Andrews are two of the main weapons at Jackson's disposal on offense.

WHO YA GOT?
