Nuggets from today's OTA practice
Here are some of the highlights from what happened at today's OTA practice via on-site beat writer social media posts:
- Josh McCown once again took the lion's share of the reps at quarterback, as had been the case in the previous two media-attended practices;
- Kelvin Beachum practiced fully for the first time, but the offensive line - with Ben Ijalana and Brent Qvale not there today - apparently had a bad day;
- Eric Decker was no longer wearing a red no-contact jersey but then put one on for team periods, during which he caught a touchdown pass from Christian Hackenberg;
- Hackenberg and the other passers were otherwise inconsistent as the defense dominated the session led by the likes of Jamal Adams, Dylan Donahue and Lorenzo Mauldin;
- Quincy Enunwa and ArDarius Stewart were among the others who did not practice; and
- Practice ended on a pick-six by Rontez Miles after the ball went through the hands of rookie tight end Jordan Leggett.
