NFL schedule to drop tonight; Jets to open on MNF in Detroit?

The NFL schedule will be released tonight at 8pm ET in a two-hour NFL network extravaganza. We'll share here when it officially drops.

As a reminder, we already know the Jets' opponents for 2018:

Home games:

Houston, Indianapolis, Green Bay, Minnesota, Denver, New England, Miami, Buffalo

Road games:

Jacksonville, Tennessee, Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, New England, Miami, Buffalo

However, it will still be interesting to see things like how many prime time games the Jets will have, in which order the games will fall and where the bye week falls.

An unverified leak yesterday suggested the Jets could be facing the Packers at Metlife Stadium in week two, but that's apparently been debunked as a fake.

A more legit rumor was just reported by the NY Post, who suggest the Jets will open their season against the Lions in Detroit...on Monday Night Football.
