Link: Benoit eviscerates the Jets' lack of talent
It's a common refrain for national and local writers to bash the Jets for the lack of talent, but MMQB's Andy Benoit goes one step further in this article.
Benoit even writes off the supposedly good players, saying the following:
- Quincy Enunwa is an "inside possession target" and says he wouldn't be anything more than a number three option on most teams;
- Brian Winters has a "lack of physical strength" and James Carpenter is stiff;
- Morris Claiborne can't cover number one receivers; and
- Muhammad Wilkerson and Sheldon Richardson are "too quiet".
All-in-all, he concludes that the Jets' opening day offensive line-up "will resemble a great team’s lineup in Week 4 of the preseason".
By the way, here's the Packers line-up from week four of preseason last year:
OL - Jason Spriggs, Lane Taylor, Don Barclay, Lucas Patrick, Kyle Murphy
QB - Joe Callahan
HB - Brandon Burks
TE - Jared Cook
WR - Davante Adams, Jason Abbrederis, Trevor Davis
