In between now and the start of the new league year, we're going to look at each of the Jets' pending free agents to decide whether or not the Jets should bring them back. We continue today with defensive lineman Nathan Shepherd.
Shepherd had one of the most consistent seasons of his career in 2022 and raised his production levels. Could he now be ready to step up into a starting role?
The Jets have three of their four-man defensive tackle rotation out of contract, so they probably can't bring them all back. Could Shepherd be a priority over Sheldon Rankins and Solomon Thomas?
