Jets select Ole Miss CB Derrick Jones with the 204th pick

With what should be their final pick in this year's draft, the Jets selected Derrick Jones.

Jones is another cornerback with good length and athleticism. He ran a 4.48 40-yard dash and posted a 41" vertical leap and 140" broad jump at his pro day.

Jones went from cornerback to receiver and then back to cornerback again while at Ole Miss. He also contributed on special teams. Ultimately, this seems like something of a project pick.

Barring any trades, that should complete the Jets' class for 2017.
