Jets mauled by Lions
Detroit won tonight's game 16-6 to give Jets fans a dose of what they'd been expecting all along anyway.
The Jets mixed and matched their line-ups tonight, especially on offense, where they gave the start to Christian Hackenberg and changed three of the starters on the offensive line. Perhaps predictably, both struggled, with Hackenberg completing just two passes in the first half and the Jets ending up with minus-three passing yards at halftime.
Bryce Petty fared a little better going against reserves in the second half, but his late interception iced the win for the Lions. Josh McCown was rested.
To give you a taste of tomorrow's in-depth analysis, you'll hear how one of the two starters on the offensive line to remain in the line-up was actually at the heart of many of their issues, but - on a more positive note - there were good defensive signs from the likes of Sheldon Richardson, Darron Lee, Josh Martin, Corey Lemonier and Dexter McDougle again.
Much more in-depth analysis to follow tomorrow, but let's hear your immediate over-reactions in the comments.
