Jets coaching search: Can the Jets go Kliff Diving?
The latest coaching search news from the last 24 hours...
The big news from Saturday was that the Jets interviewed former Packers head coach Mike McCarthy, who - as recently as Friday night - didn't have any interview dates formally scheduled.
The Jets have an interview scheduled with Kris Richard today and it's thought they might also interview Matt Rhule while they're in Texas. We also have a date for another scheduled interview now:
Todd Monken interviewing for Packers job tonight, per source. Former Bucs OC also meeting with Bengals on Monday, Jets on Tuesday.

However, one other candidate is on hold for the time being:
USC so far has denied the Jets and Cardinals permission to interview Kliff Kingsbury for HC jobs, per league sources.https://t.co/rAyB5IDIvB

Or is he?
Blocked by A.D. Lynn Swann from interviewing for Jets and Cardinals head-coaching jobs, there's a chance USC offensive coordinator Kliff Kingbury will resign so that he can explore NFL opportunities. Story coming at PFT.
