Jets coaching search: Jets fix their Gase on the horizon
The latest coaching search news from the last 24 hours.
The Jets completed their first interview with Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy and are expected to interview Cowboys defensive backs coach Kris Richard on Sunday. Mike McCarthy is expected to interview on Thursday or Friday but the date hasn't been reported yet.
That doesn't mean they've finished lining up candidates for future interviews though:
Former Dolphins coach Adam Gase will interview with the Jets on Friday, per multiple sources. That will be his second interview for a head job this week — he’s in Arizona right now. A Jets/Gase marriage would certainly be a very intriguing option for both sides.
