Jets Camp Practice Recap - 8/26/22
The Jets held another camp practice today with media on hand, so here's what went down based on reports from those in attendance:
- Despite requesting a trade yesterday, Denzel Mims practiced but was on the third unit;
- Jermaine Johnson practiced after having had a minor injury yesterday, but DJ Reed did not. Johnson had an early pressure on Mike White;
- Garrett Wilson had an early drop but made up for it on a touchdown from Joe Flacco in red zone drills;
- Flacco hit Breece Hall for a good gain on a slant route but then looked for him in red zone drills and was intercepted by Will Parks;
- Corey Davis had a diving touchdown catch on a Flacco pass in the red zone period;
- Calvin Jackson had a spectacular juggling catch from White for a 20-yard touchdown in the red zone period;
- Micheal Clemons had a pressure on Chris Streveler to force a throw-away;
- Flacco found Hall for another touchdown on a swing pass in the red zone;
- Davis made another good catch on a 50-50 pass thrown up by Flacco in the red zone;
- Mims finally got a target from Streveler at the end of practice but came down with it out of bounds; and
- This was the final play of camp.
The Jets and Giants meet in the preseason finale on Sunday.
