Injury Update: Schweitzer misses practice with a hand injury

The first injury report of 49ers week is out:

The Jets are pretty healthy at the moment, although if Schweitzer cannot play they will either need Xavier Newman to be the backup center or will have to elevate Jake Hanson from the practice squad.

They have already announced that Mike Williams will play in week one, albeit on a snap count.

On the 49ers front, the situation with Christian McCaffery (limited with a calf/Achilles issue) is worth watching.
