Injury Update: Darnold officially ruled out, but Johnson returns to full practice
The Jets just released today's injury update and the big news is that Sam Darnold has been officially ruled out from starting on Sunday. Todd Bowles did say, however, that Darnold will be the starter again as soon as he is healthy.
Of the seven players who did not practice yesterday, only Terrence Brooks (illness) returned, although Quincy Enunwa was in pads so may be close. Bowles said that Neal Sterling is the only player he'd rule out right now.
Four players were limited yesterday and James Carpenter (shoulder) was the only one of the four still limited on Thursday. Trumaine Johnson, Frankie Luvu and Kevin Pierre-Louis practiced full and will all presumably be available to play on Sunday.
