Injury update: Crowder out and Cole a game time decision for Sunday
The final injury report is out ahead of Sunday's game.
Before practice, Robert Saleh confirmed that Jamison Crowder (on Covid-19 reserve) would be out and that Cole would be a gametime decision following his knee injury at practice yesterday.
Crowder and Cole both being out would be a blow, but it sounds like a short-term absence for both and the Jets do have the depth to cope with this. Denzel Mims and Braxton Berrios would presumably get more reps as a result.
With Neasman also ruled out, Sheldrick Redwine will be the third safety on Sunday and the Jets may also opt to elevate one from the practice squad.
The Jets will need to make a roster move once Crowder is added back to the roster but this will presumably be next week now.
