Injury update: Burris returns to practice
Todd Bowles provided the first injury update of the week today and there was good news for Juston Burris, who returned to practice following a concussion, albeit on a limited basis. However, Bowles told reporters that Rashard Robinson and Darryl Roberts are about even on the depth chart, suggesting Burris is still behind them as the fifth corner.
Matt Forté missed practice again due to his knee injury and has apparently indicated he's likely to miss Wednesday practices for the rest of the season. Bruce Carter, who has a groin injury, also missed practice, while Terrance Brooks was excused.
Brian Winters, who has abdominal and ankle injuries, also continues to be limited.
For the Broncos, Emmanuel Sanders and Ron Leary both missed practice. They had recently added Derek Wolfe to injured reserve and will also be without the suspended Aqib Talib.
Leary - the Broncos' highest-graded lineman according to PFF - missed Sunday's game against the Dolphins and his replacement, youngster Connor McGovern, struggled badly.
