Injury Update: Barnes misses practice

The second injury report of 49ers week is out:

LB Zaire Barnes (ankle) was added to the injury report and he didn’t practice.

OL Wes Schweitzer (hand) also didn’t practice for the second straight day.

Otherwise the #Jets are healthy— Mike Williams was a full participant again.

If Barnes is unable to play on Saturday, the Jets will probably elevate Sam Eguavoen from the practice squad so they have a full compliment of linebackers.

It looks increasingly likely that Schweitzer won't play this weekend which could mean Xavier Newman is the primary reserve at all three interior spots. Max Mitchell would also be an option to line up at guard.
