Injury News: Sterling likely to miss Thursday night's game
The Jets, on a short week, released their first injury report today. Tight end Neal Sterling didn't practice after having suffered a concussion against the Dolphins. Linebacker Josh Martin and safety Marcus Maye, who missed the first two games are still not practicing.
On the offensive line, James Carpenter and Kelvin Beachum were each limited with foot injuries.
Todd Bowles indicated after practice that Sterling is almost certainly out. Chris Herndon filled in for him on Sunday with Jordan Leggett inactive, but had a rough day. It sounds like Maye is close to a return but might not be back in time to play on Thursday night.
