Injury News: Mann, Sherwood and Cashman to miss multiple games
The hits keep on coming for the Jets, as the head coach confirmed the two earlier reports and then gave further updates on the other players who were injured yesterday:
Jets HC Robert Saleh: LT Mekhi Becton (knee) will be out 4-6 weeks. S Lamarcus Joyner (torn triceps) is out the rest of the season. LBs Jamien Sherwood (foot) and Blake Cashman (hamstring) expected to be out a couple of weeks. P Braden Mann (left knee) expected to miss 4-6 weeks

The depth at linebacker is an obvious issue with Jarrad Davis already on injured reserve and not eligible to return until week four (although the early prognosis was that he'd actually return a few weeks after that anyway).
The Jets already elevated Del'Shawn Phillips to the active roster for yesterday's game so that move will probably be made permanent now. They could also accelerate new signing Quincy Williams' inclusion into the rotation.
Presumably the Jets will have to bring in another punter but Matt Ammendola was so good filling in for Mann that maybe they'll bring in another kicker instead, or keep using him in a dual role. That seems unlikely though.
