Injury News: Four miss practice but two are activated
The first injury report of Dolphins week is out:
As you can see, Lazard and Schweitzer, who were on injured reserve, have been activated for practice.
If Gardner and/or Hall can't go, this would at least create opportunities for more playing time for some of the members of the Jets' 2024 draft class.
The offensive line would be down to two starters if both Moses and Vera-Tucker are out but head coach Jeff Ulbrich has said it is too early to say if anyone of the players who missed practice will be available on Sunday but reportedly sounded the least optimistic about Gardner.
Schweitzer, who has been on injured reserve all season with a hand issue, might be an option to fill in. If Olu Fashanu, who was limited today, is also unavailable they could be totally stretched.
Lazard returning will also give us an insight into how Aaron Rodgers might have performed with a full complement of weapons. As things stand, Davante Adams hasn't so much been an addition as just a replacement for Lazard.
In roster news, the Jets re-signed guard Zack Bailey to the practice squad. He already spent a few weeks there before the bye.
