Front Office News: Rex Hogan to be assistant general manager
Here's a surprise hire. This is a name that hadn't been linked to the Jets.
New Jets’ GM Joe Douglas know has a new man at his side: Jets hired former Colts’ VP of player personnel Rex Hogan as assistant General Manager, per sources. Jets get a coveted personnel man.

Hogan was hired as the Jets' senior director of college scouting in 2015 but left to become the Colts' Vice President of Player Personnel two years ago.
There's a very tenuous link to the current regime. When Adam Gase was hired by the Bears in 2015, Hogan was on the staff, but he left to take the job with the Jets just over a week later. Champ Kelly was hired by the Bears at about the same time.
Douglas is putting together quite the staff. Is there still room for Kelly to come aboard in some kind of scouting role?
