Front Office News: Chad Alexander to be hired as Director of Player Personnel
Another solid addition to the front office staff:
One more big piece to the #Jets new staff under GM Joe Douglas: #Ravens Assistant Director of Pro Personnel Chad Alexander, a respected scout, is headed to NYJ to be Director of Player Personnel, I’m told.

Alexander has been with the Ravens since 1999, which means he was on the staff for all 15 of new Jets general manager Joe Douglas' years with the franchise.
Alexander was the assistant director of player personnel in Baltimore so this represents a promotion for him. He had worked closely with Vincent Newsome in Baltimore and the role Alexander is taking with the Jets is the same as the one Newsome had in Baltimore. Surprisingly, Newsome is not related to Ozzie Newsome.
