Final: Jets 27 Patriots 30
The Jets outplayed New England for much of the game but the Patriots came back to win it on a 51-yard Nick Folk field goal as time expired to preserve the Jets' winless record and their position at the top of the draft order for next year.
The Jets got a 100-yard game from Breshad Perriman, who also caught two of Joe Flacco's three touchdown passes. However, Flacco passed for just eight yards in the fourth quarter as New England kept the Jets off the field with three long scoring drives.
The Jets didn't record a sack, gave up 169 yards to Jakobi Meyers and lost Mekhi Becton early to a chest injury. However, there were some flashes of good play from their young players, albeit against a Patriots team that has been decimated by injuries.
We'll be back tomorrow with detailed game analysis, starting early but, for now, it's time to vent...
