DraftFix: Pro Days - Oklahoma State, Oregon, UCLA, Virginia, Clemson
Over the next month we'll be updating you on how draft prospects are faring at most of the main pro day workouts.
Oklahoma State
Quarterback Mason Rudolph put on a good show with just six incompletions, two of which were dropped.
Potential first round receiver James Washington improved on his combine numbers with a 39-inch vertical. However, he dropped a few passes in drills, while Marcell Ateman, who struggled at the combine, caught everything. Washington did reportedly make the catch of the day though.
Wide receiver Chris Lacy made a big impression with a sub-4.4 40-yard dash and 126" broad jump.
Potential draft picks safety Tre' Flowers, defensive tackle DeQuinton Osborne and offensive lineman Zachary Crabtree were also on hand.
Oregon
Cornerback Arrion Springs made the biggest splash at the Ducks' pro day, running a 4.38 in the 40-yard dash.
Potential draft picks offensive lineman Tyrell Crosby and running back Royce Freeman opted to stick with their combine numbers.
Safety Tyree Robinson helped himself with a 4.48 40-yard dash and 37.5-inch vertical.
UCLA
All 32 teams had representatives at the Bruins pro day to watch an impressive display from quarterback Josh Rosen, including Mike Maccagnan.
Potential draft choices on hand included receiver Jordan Lasley, offensive tackle Kolton Miller, interior lineman Scott Quessenberry and defensive back Jaleel Wadood. Lasley posted disappointing numbers at the combine, but Miller and Quessenberry's numbers were excellent.
Virginia
The headline-maker at the Cavaliers pro day was defensive lineman Andrew Brown, who had lost seven pounds since the combine and improved his 40-time from 5.03 to 4.84.
Safety Quin Blanding, linebacker Micah Kiser and quarterback Kurt Benkert were also on hand.
Clemson
Clemson's best prospect may be wide receiver Deon Cain, but he failed to impress here with a number of drops.
Of the players on display, another receiver - potential late round pick Ray-Ray McCloud - impressed scouts by doing defensive back drills and catching punts as well as doing well in receiver drills.
Defensive back Ryan Carter, a combine snub, ran well and posted 16 bench press reps.
Linebacker Dorian O'Daniel, offensive lineman Taylor Hearn and safety Van Smith were among other draftable players on hand.
Grand Valley State
Tight end Nick Keizer weighed in at 251 pounds and impressed with a 121" broad jump and 27 bench press reps - four more than any tight end managed at the combine. However, he only managed to run 4.82 in the 40-yard dash.
