Countdown to Camp: 58
As we look ahead to training camp in late July, we're going to take a daily retrospective look back at some random people, moments and games from Jets history...
The Current 58
Darron Lee, who switched from number 50 last year, currently rocks the 58 jersey. He's going to have to play more consistently in 2018, but hopefully with the reinforcements up front, that will be possible. Lee certainly played the best football of his career so far in the middle part of last season.
The Greatest
While he only wore 58 for the last three years of his 11 year Jets career, Bryan Thomas could arguably claim to be the best Jet to wear that number (and he has no shot at being the greatest to wear number 99). That included the 2010 run to the AFC title game in which Thomas had six sacks.
