As we look ahead to training camp in late July, we're taking a daily retrospective look back at some random people, moments and games from Jets history...
The Current 15
Josh McCown did a great job last season, making a mockery of the preseason projections that suggested the Jets would be historically bad on offense. The team looked lost once he went down with his season-ending hand injury. He'll face a challenge to hang onto his starting role this year, though, with Sam Darnold and Teddy Bridgewater looming.
The Greatest
Brandon Marshall was only a Jet for a couple of years and the second of those seasons saw him feuding with teammates and struggling with injuries. However, his 2015 season was historic as his 109 receptions and 1,502 receiving yards set franchise records and his 14 touchdown catches tied one.

The 2003 season was wrecked in preseason when Chad Pennington busted his wrist. With Vinny Testaverde back in as the starter, the Jets lost their first four games and, although they recovered to win five of their next eight, ended up 6-10.
Center Kevin Mawae and pass rusher Shaun Ellis (12 sacks) went to the pro bowl. Curtis Martin rushed for over 1,300 yards and Santana Moss had his best season as a Jet with 74 catches for over 1,100 yards and 10 touchdowns.

15 on the scoreboard
The Jets beat the Bengals 15-14 in 2001 as they came back from a 14-3 fourth quarter deficit on Testaverde touchdown passes to James Dearth (his only career touchdown) and Anthony Becht.
15 in the record books
The 1993 Jets set an all-time NFL record by having the lowest kickoff return average at (just below) 15 yards per return.
Thomas Jones rushed for 13 touchdowns and caught two touchdown passes in 2008. His 15 total touchdowns is a team record.
The 15 losses in 1996 is obviously also a franchise record.
