Buzz: Will Winston be available to face Jets on Sunday?
The Bucs are in disarray after yesterday's game. They lost 30-10 in New Orleans with Jameis Winston, who had already been questionable with a shoulder injury, knocked out of the game.
The team was scheduled to give him x-rays and an MRI scan, although Winston has suggested it's not a new injury:
Jameis Winston says injury is the same thing again. Doctors pulled him. Says over and over he needs to play better, hates losing.

Reports are already surfacing that suggest he might not be available to suit up against the Jets on Sunday:
Jameis Winston likely out a minimum of 2 to 3 wk’s w/ shoulder injury. I’ll discuss more this afternoon on @979ESPNRadio during The JCS.

Even if Winston is able to play on Sunday, the injury wasn't the only concern arising out of their bad loss to the Saints. After being knocked out of the game, he instigated a scuffle with rookie Marshon Lattimore on the sideline, leading to a blindside hit from Mike Evans. That led to the star receiver being penalized, but not ejected, which may invite further disciplinary action, including perhaps a suspension. Winston also drew attention for a bemusing motivational speech prior to the game and Bucs fans on social media seem to be turning on him.
Ex-Jets starter Ryan Fitzpatrick is Winston's back-up. He struggled yesterday, although he did throw a late touchdown pass in garbage time. With the Bucs already 2-6 and showing signs of the wheels coming off altogether, this is a big chance for the Jets to steal a win on the road and get back to .500 before their bye week.
