Buzz: Teddy Bridgewater passes physical, completes move to Jets
After yesterday's move, some people were wondering if, perhaps, there had been a hold-up to the Teddy Bridgewater signing. We've now had confirmation that this is going ahead as planned:

As of yesterday evening, the Jets were yet to announce the signings of Bridgewater, Avery Williamson and Spencer Long, but the deals for Williamson and Long had been filed with the NFL. However, the Bridgewater deal had not. That led some to wonder if there was a chance it might fall through, but it seems that they just hadn't had a chance to work him out and finalize matters.
It seems Bridgewater's contract will be in line with what was reported at the time:
Haven't seen a full breakdown of Teddy Bridgewater's one-year contract with the #Jets yet, but my understanding is it has a base value of $6 million, with $1M guaranteed for practical purposes. Another $9M in incentives tied to playtime, etc.

Those incentives will not count against the 2018 cap. If he earns any, the cap hit will be assessed in 2019 instead.
