Buzz: Jets worked out DL Armonty Bryant
The Jets still haven't stopped looking for possible talent upgrades:
Former Lions DE Armonty Bryant - released after a recent 4-game suspension - worked out for the Jets, per source.

Bryant, who had multiple off-field issues before he entered the league, has been suspended a couple of times for substance abuse policy violations.
However, after their previous success with Austin Seferian-Jenkins and, to a lesser extent, Mike Pennel, who are we to second-guess the Jets should they decide to go back to the troubled-but-talented well? At the very least it would be a nurturing environment to give a player like Bryant a chance to rebuild his career.
The 27-year old was a former seventh round pick and has 11.5 sacks in four seasons, including 8.5 in just 19 games over the past two years. The Browns liked using him as a pass rushing tackle, but he's more of an edge defender at 6'4" and 265 pounds.
Bryant would not be practice squad eligible, so this is likely a watchlist assessment and someone they could look at if the get more injuries in the front seven or if they're not happy with the contributions they're getting from the likes of Freddie Bishop or Obum Gwacham.
We'll update you if they make a move for Bryant down the road, but it's unlikely anything is imminent here.
