Buzz: Jets work out RB Lorenzo Taliaferro

Some due diligence from the Jets, it would seem:

After a game where neither of the Jets' backs had 10 carries and the third back (rookie Elijah McGuire) didn't get any offensive snaps, it seems unlikely the Jets need to add another one to the roster. Indeed, Manish Mehta from the Daily News tweeted that no move is imminent.

Taliferro is a big back (232 pounds), which the Jets roster currently lacks. Perhaps they're checking on him as an option to add some power to the running game if it continues to splutter. However, the 25-year old has only played six games and rushed for 47 yards since his rookie year in 2015.
