Buzz: Jets work out more defensive tackles
Having already worked out Johnathan Hankins and Frostee Rucker, the Jets still haven't filled that veteran starter spot on the defensive line. Looks like they're still looking to add depth there:
As teams try to fill holes before the draft, the #Jets are hosting at least two free agent defensive linemen on workouts today: Ex-#Rams DL Tyrunn Walker & ex-#Browns DL Lavar Edwards, sources say.

The 27-year old Edwards is a journeyman who has been on eight different teams since being drafted in the fifth round in 2013. He's made just one start in his career, registering 23 tackles and two sacks. If the Jets signed him, he'd be the fifth former LSU player on the Jets' defense.
Walker, a 28-year old who was undrafted out of Tulsa in 2012, is more established than Edwards. He's started 17 games in his career, registering 85 tackles, 4.5 sacks, six passes defensed and two forced fumbles. He made four starts with the Rams last year, recording 22 tackles, four passes defensed and a sack.
We'll let you know if the Jets eventually sign a lineman.
