Buzz: Jets expected to sign free agent kicker Cairo Santos
After the excitement of the last few days, the second wave looks set to get underway:

After losing Chandler Catanzaro, signing a veteran with some level of experience is smart but I doubt the Jets would be guaranteeing Santos anything. They'd probably bring in a youngster to compete with him - maybe a draft pick or perhaps Ross Martin, who almost won the job last year.
Santos has made 84% of his field goals during his four year career, including seven from beyond 50 yards. However, last year he had trouble with a groin injury and ultimately only attempted five field goals all year, making four.
In other news, tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins agreed to a two-year contract worth up to $11 million with the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jets had tried to re-sign him.
Also, the details of Spencer Long's contract have been released:
C Spencer Long's agreement with the #Jets: Four years, $28 million, per source. He can earn another $2 million with PT incentives. #Jets
