Buzz: DL Frostee Rucker visits Jets

So far Johnathan Hankins, who visited the Jets a couple of weeks ago, is still without a contract. Looks like the Jets are starting to consider some alternatives:

The 34-year old started every game last year and is still pretty solid against the run, but would obviously be a short-term move. However, if the Jets don't sign Hankins, it would make sense to add another experienced player to a defensive lineman group that looks weaker than the Jets have had over the past several years.
