We wrote about Johnson, who missed all of last season with a knee injury here.
As for Minter, there were no reports that the Jets were interested in him, but he has played for Todd Bowles in the past. He's still only 27 and started seven games for the Bengals last year, having started every game for the Cardinals in the previous two seasons and five games with Bowles as his defensive coordinator in 2014.
Minter was in an every down role with the Cardinals in 2015 and 2016, racking up a career high 94 tackles in 2015 and 3.5 of his five career sacks in 2016. However, last year, he was mostly used on running downs. He'd be likely to back up Avery Williamson if he makes the Jets roster.
The Jets are now up to 86 players. They'll need to get down below 90 immediately after the draft.
We'll add both players to the list of scouting reports to be shared on JetsFix over the next few weeks.
