Breaking: Jets sign TE Bucky Hodges

Another addition to the tight end competition:

Hodges, who is arguably more like a wide receiver than a tight end despite being 6'6" and 257 pounds, was a sixth round pick out of Virginia Tech last year, but didn't make the Vikings roster despite catching four passes for 72 yards and a touchdown in preseason. He spent time on the Panthers' practice squad.
