Breaking: Jets sign T George Fant

After a frustrating day for fans that saw many of the Jets supposed targets signing elsewhere, they finally made a move for a left tackle today:

Former Seahawks’ OT George Fant reached agreement with the Jets on a three-year, $30 million deal that includes $13.7 million guaranteed, per @JFowlerESPN and me.

One of the knock-on effects from this move could be that free agent tackle Kelvin Beachum won't now re-sign with the Jets.
