Onwuasor, who obviously played alongside CJ Mosley with the Ravens, started 32 games in his first four seasons. However, he wasn't really a three down linebacker. He showed some good production with 90 tackles in 2017 and 5.5 sacks in 2018 but he graded out poorly last season.
Onwuasor was valued at $4.8 per season by Spotrac but only $1.1 million by OverTheCap, which seems more likely. He could compete for playing time with the recently re-signed Neville Hewitt and James Burgess and the returning Blake Cashman.
This move probably makes it even more likely that Avery Willamson will be moved.
