Breaking: Jets sign G Simpson
The Jets have reportedly agreed terms on their first major signing of the 2024 offseason:
Help for Aaron Rodgers: Veteran OL John Simpson is signing with the #Jets on a two-year deal worth up to $18 million, per his agent @KyleStrongin with @RangeSportsRMP.

This move hopefully shores up the other starting guard spot with Alijah Vera-Tucker also set to make his return from injury this year.
The Jets moved quickly to sign Simpson after making a big push for Damien Lewis, who ended up opting to sign for Carolina for over $13m per year.
Simpson gave up just one sack in 19 starts last season but did have 13 penalties.
