There’s your new starting DB
It may be jumping the gun to assume Desir, who was released by the Colts yesterday one year into a three-year, $23 million contract, will be a starter in 2020. However, he has started 23 games over the past two seasons so you can safely pencil him in as a probable starter for the time being.
Desir intercepted a career-high three passes in 2019 but didn't have a great season after a solid 2018 campaign. He gave up five touchdowns and four penalties in 11 starts and allowed a quarterback rating of over 100 when targeted.
The 29-year old is a former fourth round pick who many of us liked as a sleeper out of Lindenwood. He primarily has played on the outside at the pro level.
