With this move, Demario Davis and Darron Lee will now presumably be the projected starters. The Jets will save over $6 million in cap space.
In 10 seasons with the Jets, Harris missed just six games and led the team in tackles eight times. Long snapper Tanner Purdum is now the longest tenured Jet.
