Breaking: Jets re-sign Ben Ijalana
Looks like the Jets made another depth move today:
Free agent OT Ben Ijalana is signing back with the.. #Jets on a 1-year deal, source said. They get a versatile tackle back who can play both sides.

Ijalana has started 13 games in his NFL career, all of them in 2016, where he started off at right tackle with Breno Giacomini out with an injured back and then moved to left tackle following Ryan Clady's season-ending injury. He's also filled in at guard at times.
Ijalana signed a two-year, $11 million deal before the 2017 season but ultimately played just 56 snaps, 41 of which were in the season finale. The Jets released Ijalana at the end of the season and are now presumably bringing him back for a much lower sum - probably not much, if at all, more than the veteran's minimum.
