Breaking: Jets draft T Mekhi Becton with the 11th pick

With the likes of Jerry Jeudy, Henry Ruggs, Tristan Wirfs, Mekhi Becton and CeeDee Lamb all still on the board the Jets may have looked to trade down but were unable to do so.

They opted to go with Becton, a 364-pound tackle from Louisville who ran a 5.1 in the 40-yard dash. He has the potential to be a road grader in the running game and posted good pass protection numbers in college, although scouts warn that his pass sets may require some seasoning.

Barring a trade, the Jets don't have another pick today. They are scheduled to pick three times tomorrow evening, in the second round at 48 and twice in the third round at 68 and 79.
