A major loss for the Jets ahead of this unusual season:

Mosley's contract will toll, which means that he'll remain under contract for four more seasons, but that's not exactly ideal for the Jets because they'll just get an extra year when he's 32. Also, he'll now be two years removed from his last full season when he enters the second year of his deal.
There will be more players opting out or even falling ill but as we stand this is a major loss for the Jets, especially in light of the fact that they recently traded Jamal Adams away.
The Jets have Avery Williamson returning from a torn ACL although he began camp on the PUP list. Neville Hewitt, James Burgess, Blake Cashman and Patrick Onwuasor are the other options to start in a position group that suddenly looks like a major weakness.
